I think at sasukes current ability he can. He has the susanoo, hes already copied lees speed, a bunch of useful jutsu, and of course a matured sharingan. I havent seen enough of lees new abilities to make an accurate assesment but i he probably hasnt progressed as much as sasuke. Therefore the winner is sasuke

Lee clearly wins if we base it off of Taijutsu. However, for someone who specializes in Taijutsu and nothing else the simplest of Genjutsu can have him fighting enemies he think is real. Until he's tired and then Sasuke for the easy kill. Unless one of the gates nullifies Genjutsu.
In which Sasuke can be hit in Suasanoo and Amaterasu doesn't matter if he can't hit him.
So Sasuke beats Lee.
If Lee can nullify genjutsu. Lee beats Sasuke.

I see both of your points. I'm inclined to agree with the latter tho. There are things we don't know about the inner gates so its hard to speculate. I vote Lee because it doesn't matter what skills you have if you can't keep up and hit the target. Not to mention guy showed how he deals with genjutsu in part 1 and we know he had to have taught Lee

I see both of your points. I'm inclined to agree with the latter tho. There are things we don't know about the inner gates so its hard to speculate. I vote Lee because it doesn't matter what skills you have if you can't keep up and hit the target. Not to mention guy showed how he deals with genjutsu in part 1 and we know he had to have taught Lee yes but in any case with an almost and now most likely perfect Susanoo (since hashirama gave him senju chakra, and jugo can lend his in any case) eternal mangekyo, the experience of fighting people like danzo, orochimaru, kabuto itachi etc. his speed and chakra are equal to if not better than lees. his amount of techniques, genjutsu kirin amaterasu, are things Lee cannot* deal with, maybe genjutsu but i even doubt that. Also even if lee is faster somehow sasuke has eternal mangekyo and perfect susanoo for defense and amaterasu and kirin which are unblockable lol unless your madara, sooooo........... |

None of his opponents have been as fast as lee or as good at Taijutsu except Raikage...who almost ended his life. Susanoo, amaterasu and kirin can't hit what can't be seen. |

If I remember correctly Gai was the only one who knew how to fight itachi with his mangekyou and Gai repeatedly shows that Kisame isnt that big of a deal to him. |

True, the Sharingan is easy to counter once you're aware of it. A ninja could easily fight an opponent while avoiding eye contact. We just need to know if Lee is fast enough to dodge Amaterasu. But we also need to take into account is how they fight. Sasuke hardly pulls out Susanoo instantly.
