Just because Sasuke has gotten better you assume he automatically wins. You forget the fact PTS Sasuke couldn't keep up with Rock Lee who wasn't even trying, WITH his weights on. Sasuke couldn't beat Gaara, who could barely beat Kimimaro, who was getting swept by Drunken Fist Lee.
Moving along, Sasuke was losing to a pre ONE-TAIL Kyuubi Naruto, that was clearly slower than Rock Lee with his gates open. And he couldn't react fast enough though he could see. He needed the third koma.
Moving on to Time-Skip. Again, Sasuke loses to Raikage, who had overwhelming speed that he couldn't hit Amaterasu. He had to put up a Susano'o barrier AND Amaterasu shield. Gaara had to stop the fight or Sasuke was GOING to die. There's no ifs there. It's clearly happening. Raikage didn't give a shit about his post condition, and Rock Lee obviously doesn't care about his condition or he would have never used the Gates against Gaara. And STILL uses the Gates to this day. Not to mention, Danzo was handing Sasuke his ass.
Fast forward, Itachi, also sweeping Sasuke with speed and overwhelming strength. And Sasuke, after exhausting his trump card, still lost to a DYING Itachi, so much to the point, Sasuke feared for his life and begged for mercy. Also facts PROVEN in the series by the author. Every technique Guy has shown, Rock Lee has also been shown to be capable of, and actively use. The only difference is, we've never seen Lee fight a Sharingan user. Based off FACTS throughout the series, Lee wins until stated otherwise.

Lee hasn't shown enough of his progress to even make this versus possible. His only recent feat was how he blitzed Madara with a kick. EXACTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE NIGGAS ARE ASSUMING AND ACTING LIKE ITS OKAY Ok then lets not take assumptions and go off what we know. Lees inner gates increase his speed and strength. Now if we account for his 3-4 years training during the time gap he's obviously stronger. Sasuke has gotten much much stronger as well there's no denying that. while saskue has a multitude of new ninjutsu it and physical abilities his speed and strength cant keep up with someones whi ONLY trains in that area. Thats all im saying |

Gai fought itachi and kisame with kakashi. lol a 2 minute fight in which he aint do shit and Itachi and kisame could have easily killed everyone there./.................................... Gotta watch that over. Pretty sure Itachi just put Kakashi in Tsukiyomi and did nothing to Gai. |

He said he would give him his remaining chakra and teach him a jutsu, Sasukes not having any Hashirama celss transplanted into him which would be needed to permanently gain the benefits AS SEEN in Danzo, Yamamoto, Madara, Obito. |

I think Gai helped him out of it and told him how to fight him, the fact is that kakashi, a sharingan user, got caught and Gai, who was in the same fight, didnt. And that was against itachi who is primarily a genjutsu user |

Thats all im saying Honestly, we have to assume some things. No way Lee has enough panel time to even gauge how much he's grown over this period. So assumptions aren't bad. Just don't get outrageous with it. We can assume that as Blue said Lee got stronger during the Gap. Meaning Stronger and Faster. Since that's the only thing he can do. Sasuke has gained immense powerful Ninjutsu but he isn't the most skilled at Taijutsu. |
